Andy Rafal

Role

Andy takes over leadership of OLI Systems with plans to continue this strong, stable family-run company with a mandate for investment in strategic growth. 

 

Accomplishments
During his career, Andy built and operated a multi-billion hedge fund (Tiger Consumer Management) that ran for 15 years. In that role, he had the opportunity to lead sales and operational teams, while also establishing and spearheading the investment research process of the organization focusing on consumer, technology and business service companies.  He has served on the Board of Directors of a variety of entrepreneurial for-profit and non-profit businesses, focused primarily on inflection points in these organization’s life cycles.  Andy graduated from Cornell University and NYU School of Law.

Role

As founder and visionary leader, Marshall began a company that after 46 years retains a unique blend of dedication to furthering the electrolyte science while delivering the science through commercial software. Marshall will continue to provide enthusiastic and strategic leadership through working with OLI's Board of Directors.

 

Accomplishments

Marshall was co-author of the OLI Aqueous Thermodynamic Framework and was the lead author on the book, Handbook of Aqueous Electrolyte Thermodynamics: Theory and Application. Marshall was the principal author of the numerical algorithms for the OLI Engine and Tower solvers.

Andre Anderko

Role

Andre Anderko is responsible for technology at OLI Systems. In his role as CTO, he oversees every aspect of OLI development: the research that provides the foundation for physical property and corrosion models, parameter development through thermophysical modeling, continued development of OLI solvers, and software product development. In his R&D function, he manages sponsored research projects and works on corrosion modeling.

 

Accomplishments

Andre is the architect and author of OLI's corrosion simulation technology. He has led the development of OLI's Mixed-Solvent Electrolyte framework, including thermodynamic and transport property models. Also, he developed a model for the thermodynamic behavior of electrolyte systems at high temperatures.

Role
Vineeth joined OLI in March 2018 as the global leader for sales, marketing, product and portfolio strategy, as well as client success and support functions. Vineeth Ram's role at OLI will be to scale and grow the existing business while also transforming OLI to accelerate digital transformation in the industrial markets with electrolyte chemistry-based data analytics, insights and intelligence.

 

Accomplishments

With graduate degrees in engineering and business, Vineeth has over two decades of leadership experience in strategy, marketing, business development and general management in industrial and technology industries.  He has consistently driven revenue growth faster than the market, enabled significant market share gain and transformed organizations to become more solutions driven and client focused. Most recently, he was a Vice President of Global Marketing at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. His prior experience includes leadership roles at Emerson, Panduit Corp, IBM, Dell and 3M.

Chris Depetris

Role

Chris is responsible for the product development team as well as overseeing all IT systems. Chris oversees all aspects of the product line from development to release, striving to ensure that all products meet our customers' needs and expectations from the installation to usage.

 

Accomplishments

Chris has been a member of the software development team here at OLI for over 15 years. He has led the product development team since 2005, ensuring continuous growth and improvement of OLI software products.

Role

Brian brings his extensive financial and operations skills to his role as OLI's Chief Financial Officer.

 

Accomplishments

Brian joins OLI from Night Square Capital Partners, LP, a long/short equity hedge fund that he helped to build, where he managed all operations efforts and served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to working at Night Square, Brian worked at Tiger Consumer Management alongside current President and CEO of OLI, Andy Rafal, where he served as Controller and Chief Information Security Officer during his five year tenure.  Prior to his time at Tiger, Brian worked as a Senior Audit Associate at Rothstein, Kass & Co. (acquired by KPMG in 2014). 

 

 Education

Brian graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Business and Economics while majoring in Accounting
