In this spotlight, Diana demonstrates how to analyze corrosion rates and polarization curves using the OLI Corrosion Analyzer tool. Specifically, corrosion rates of carbon steel in aerated systems will be studied as a function of pH, flow velocity and in the presence of selected inorganic inhibitors. Simulations such as these provide an overall understanding of how different operating variables can have a significant impact on the lifetime of equipment and assets
