Ideally, the Integrity Operating Window (IOW) for an HF alkylation unit would be fine-tuned by using process simulation in order to minimize HF corrosion. Rigorous process simulation could predict the thermodynamic phase change temperature and pressure of the streams in the unit and develop safe operating conditions. Join this new OLI JIP to develop the necessary parameters to permit accurate HF alklation modeling.
