Arsenic Adsorption

A critical method for removing toxins from water is to adsorb them onto oxide surfaces of iron, aluminum and manganese. We will explore this surface adsorption mechanism in OLI, and compute the competitive adsorption of arsenate, selenite, selenite, and other materials into these surfaces. We will also quantify the impact of solution chemistry and pH on removal efficiency
