Electrolyte Modeling Basics Course

This is a 2-day course designed for an individual who has little or no background in modeling aqueous electrolyte systems. The objectives are to provide an overview of speciation and aqueous thermodynamics, training in the use of OLI software to formulate and solve practical problems, and a facility for client feedback on current applications and issues. The Analyzers and optionally ESP are covered in this course.

Held periodically at OLI, or onsite at a client location upon request.

Chemistry in Brine Production
(taught by A.J.Gerbino of AQSim)
more description coming soon

This is a 1- to 4-day course that covers the important areas of production chemistry encountered by engineers.  The course length is variable. For a 1-day course, the lecture takes the majority of time. For longer course lengths, the balance of time is in supervised, application building. Clients are encouraged to bring their own applications.

This course was designed by AQSim, OLI's partner company in sales, training, and applications consulting, and is primarily given onsite at your company.

Web training
description and registration

AQSim offers remote clients a chance to take the first day of Electrolyte Modeling Basics via 2, 3.5 hour sessions. Registration is by web seat and several colleagues can be trained at one location in one class. Homework between classes allows time to apply concepts learned in class.

Different course times accommodate different geographic areas of the world. 2009 schedule for January - June is now available.
